This all started when day when I finally figured out what was bothering me about the so-called "Clarke's Law," which states that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. One may as well say that any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology, which I do. However, just because you (or I for that matter) might not be able to tell the difference, that does not mean a difference does not exist. That turned out to be a minor point in the stories because they really deal with prejudice and intolerance as well as friendship and love, with humor, satire and social commentary.
